Carna Cottage

Carna Cottage offers flexible accommodation for solo travellers, families and small groups.

Access to my private living space is via the sitting room. This means I pass through the room when I leave and enter the house. This is always at sociable hours and can be at pre-agreed times (so you can chill out and relax in front of the woodburner without risk of being disturbed!)

There are two double bedrooms in the cottage, plus spacious living space, designed to provide an intimate setting for couples or families but a degree of separation for solo travellers and small groups.

The rooms can be rented separately, with shared use of the living space between guests, or together as an entire 'apartment'.

Both rooms are equipped with Smart TV, tea and coffee making facilities, plus complimentary tea and coffee.

Yessss! There is a woodburning stove in the sitting room - no squabbling over who's the best fire-starter :)

There is a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, airfryer, toaster and hob.

NB For single night stays, a complimentary breakfast of bread, jams, milk and cereal is provided. For your convenience, frozen ready meals are also available to purchase at cost price, if you don't fancy heading into the village :)

The Blue Room

The smaller of the two rooms, on the road side of the house, The Blue Room is perfect for those on a tight budget. A very comfortable room, with a double bed and orthopaedic mattress, a large wardrobe and chest of drawers, Smart TV, chair and desk, along with a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee.

Shared use of kitchen, bathroom and sitting room.

The Coffee Room

A spacious and airy room on the yard side of the house, The Coffee Room is great value for money, with a Superking-sized bed and comfy chair, Smart TV and tea and coffee making facilities. There's also a large built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers.

The Posh Bothy

Simple but beautiful accommodation, perfect for couples and the solo traveller.

The Posh Bothy is a gorgeous space, it has a hob and microwave with convection oven, so you've really no need to venture out from your little nest - if you stay a night you'll wish you'd booked longer.

With great insulation, underfloor heating and heated towel rail, The Posh Bothy is always cosy and warm. There's a Smart TV for the rainy days and it's own little terrace for the sunny ones, but with stunning views of Cruach Ardrain and Ben More, you may just want to be out adventuring!
